Crisis Management
The WW-P Regional School District has a Crisis Management Plan that reflects the common and unique needs of educators, students, families, and the greater community. Our procedures are based upon recommendations from the United States Department of Education, the United States Department of Justice, the New Jersey Adolescent Suicide Prevention Project, and the most effective model plans of school districts around the nation. The WW-P Regional School District's Crisis Plan outlines how all individuals in the school community (administrators, teachers, parents, students, bus drivers, and support staff) will be prepared to react to various types of crises and to spot the behavioral and emotional signs that indicate a child is troubled. The plan also details how school and community resources can be used to create safe environments and to manage responses to acute threat and incidents of violence.
