Foreign Language in the Elementary School

Our classes meet twice a week for 40 minutes. Research has shown that this program of study provide children with the opportunity to increase their sensitivity to and understanding of the language, values, customs and traditions of others.
Our goal is to develop what students know and are able to do with the language. We use authentic materials, and design hands-on-activities which includes games, songs, rhymes, drama, finger plays and lots of interpersonal activities.
The children have the opportunity to listen and feel comfortable about learning a language, received positive reinforcement and perform physical actions making learning Spanish fun and interactive.
