The West Windsor-Plainsboro Regional School District commits considerable resources to the social, emotional, and personal development as well as the intellectual and physical growth of students.
A comprehensive school counseling program is an integral component of the district’s mission and is based upon standards in academic, career, and personal/social development. District-wide, there are 34 school counselors and four student assistance counselors (SACs) who promote and enhance the learning process for all students in Kindergarten through Grade 12.

School and student assistance counselors (SACs) are vital members of the educational team. School counselors assist students in the areas of academic achievement, personal/social development, and career development while SACs provide prevention and early intervention services to help students and their families receive the help and resources needed for improving overall well-being.
