Mandatory Trainings for WW-P Employees

The New Jersey Department of Education requires annual training on 14 topics for all school employees. To comply with this regulation, the West Windsor-Plainsboro Regional School District has contracted with Global Compliance Network (GCN), an internet-based training program.

After independently completing a training, an electronic record of that goes to an online database to verify the employee’s work. After all training programs have been completed, staff members can print a single page certificate that counts as five hours towards the certificated staff member’s 100-hour professional development requirement.

The following state-mandated professional development trainings must be completed by all staff: Anti-Bullying; Child Abuse; Suicide Prevention; Sexual Harassment; Hazard Communications; Blood Bourne Pathogens; Drug and Alcohol; Discrimination; FERPA; Harassment; Asthma; Diabetes; Gang Awareness; and 504 Plans.
