In conjunction with the federal government and the New Jersey Department of Agriculture, WW-P will be participating in a waiver that provides students access to nutritious meals at no cost. During the 2021-22 school year, as a participant in the National School Lunch Program, WW-P students will be extended the opportunity to receive lunch at no cost due to the ongoing COVID-19 health emergency.

Elementary Schools

Lunch will be served in the cafeteria for the 2021-22 school year. All students attending full-day are welcome to choose a complete meal daily. The meal will include a milk or 100 percent juice, a protein, a grain, and a fresh fruit/vegetable. A vegetarian option will also be available each day. Menus are available on the Sodexo website. Juice and milk are only available as part of a complete meal. Parents/guardians are asked to pre-order elementary student(s) meal selections using PaySchools Central in order to provide WW-P food services with an estimated number of meals being requested each day (registration and order instructions are below). Half-day kindergarten students will be provided milk for snack time.

At this time, no a la carte purchases will be available. Should this opportunity become available later in the school year, parents will be notified.

Middle and High Schools

The meal will include a milk or 100 percent juice, a protein, a grain, and a fresh fruit/vegetable. A vegetarian option will also be available each day. Menus are available on the Sodexo website. Juice and milk are only available as part of a complete meal. Parents/guardians are asked to pre-order student(s) meal selections using PaySchools Central in order to provide WW-P food services with an estimated number of meals being requested each day (registration and order instructions below).

A grab and go breakfast will also be available daily at no-cost at the middle and high school cafeterias. The breakfast menu will be posted to the Sodexo website.

Setting Up A PaySchools Account to Pre-Order

PaySchools Central is the new food service payment and ordering system for WW-P. Families with funds still remaining in the District’s prior system (MySchoolBucks) from previous years will be transferred to their PaySchools accounts once you create your student’s account. Prior to pre-ordering, parents/guardians must create a PaySchools Central account. Instructions on creating an account are available below. Please note: Your student’s student ID number is required in order to create a PaySchools account. Student ID numbers may be found in the Genesis Parent Portal. An individual account rather (not a family account) must be created for each student in order to pre-order.

Instructions for Creating a PaySchools Account:

Once a PaySchools account has been created, below are instructions for pre-ordering meals.

Free and Reduced Lunch Application

Although WW-P students have the option to receive meals at no cost for the 2021-22 school year, there is also an application for free and reduced price school meals which opens up other food benefits for families. If you wish to apply, please complete one application per family.

The application is available via your PaySchools Central account or may be downloaded from the District website. If you are completing this application from the District website, please sign on the first page and return the form to Colleen O’Cone, either by email, colleen.ocone@ww-p.org, or mail to the WW-P Central Office, 321 Village Rd. East, West Windsor, NJ 08550.

Please note that benefits for current recipients will expire Oct. 20, 2021. Families must submit a new application for the 2021-22 school year. If you have already received a letter stating that your child is eligible for free lunch because you have been identified as receiving state benefits, a new application is NOT required.
