NOTICE OF CHANGE FOR THE BOARD OF EDUCATION MEETING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the West Windsor-Plainsboro Regional School District Board of Education’s regularly scheduled meeting on Tuesday, May 11, 2021, which will convene at 6:30 p.m. for purposes of going into Executive Session and then open to the public at 7:30 p.m., will be conducted electronically in light of the current Public Health Emergency caused by COVID-19.  The public will be able to access the agenda for that meeting, as well as electronically view and participate in the public portion of the meeting via a link posted on the front page of the District’s website at www.ww-p.orgAny member of the public wishing to submit written comments via regular mail may click here for the mailing instructions and the mailing address. Public comments sent via regular mail must be received by 9 a.m. the day of the meeting. Any members of the public wishing to submit written comments prior to the start of the meeting may do so via a Google Form that will be open between 5:30 - 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 11, 2021, on the District’s website, www.ww-p.org. Any such written comments received will be read aloud for three minutes (in accordance with Board Policy 0167) by the Board attorney. Any members of the public who did not submit a written comment prior to the written comment period deadlines and wishes to make a verbal comment during the meeting must sign-up through the Google Forms that will be posted on the front page of the District’s website at www.ww-p.org starting at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 11, 2021. There will be two separate sign-up sheets for public comment.  The sign-up sheets for each public comment period will remain open up until the start of the respective public comment period during the meeting.  Those wishing to make a verbal public comment must register via one of the two forms as well as register to attend the Zoom meeting. When it is a member of the public’s opportunity to speak, they will be acknowledged and then invited to be a participant to provide their comment in the Zoom meeting via audio and/or video. All comments must be in accordance with the procedures and three-minute time limit set forth in Board Policy 0167, which can be found on the District website or upon request to the Board Secretary. If the comment extends beyond those three minutes, speakers will be asked to conclude their comments and may be muted by the Moderator.  Once an individual has finished their comment or their three minutes has expired, their audio and video will be turned off by the Moderator.  Members of the public will not be permitted to submit both written comments and make additional comments via video and/or audio.
