WW-P has been selected to participate in a statewide survey being conducted by the New Jersey Department of Education, Office of Special Education. The survey is being sent to parent/caregivers of students who receive special education services as part of a statewide effort to collect information that will allow the New Jersey Department of Education to enhance special education programs, services and supports and to improve results for children and families.
During June and July of this year, families of students who receive special services will be receiving a survey in the mail from the New Jersey Department of Education, Office of Special Education. We strongly encourage families to complete and return it as soon as possible in the pre-paid self-addressed envelope. The return envelope is addressed to a private agency that will scan and summarize the information on each survey. There is also an option to complete the survey online and a code is provided. Survey responses will remain confidential; families do not need to put their name or the name of their child on the survey.
This survey will provide important information to further efforts on behalf of families and students with disabilities.
