Bus Stop Info

Bus Stop Information

We understand that parents have questions about a particular bus stop. It is important to note that any requests for a bus stop change will be evaluated for safety reasons and will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. In addition, any bus stop change involves a review of the safety issues as well as the needs of all students on the bus.

Information to Know Regarding Busing

54 passenger buses are not permitted to enter cul de sacs. Not only is it not safe, but it is department policy not to do so. If you witness a 54 passenger bus violating this rule, please report it to the transportation department, and it will be handled immediately.

Also note that house stop requests are only honored if you are residing on a busy highway with no crossing guards or sidewalks. All others are expected to walk to their designated bus stop.

Please note that there are times when a student might be assigned to a new bus, due to an increase in student enrollment, causing the bus to become overloaded. Such decisions are necessary and with student seating accommodations and safety in mind.

Should you have a specific safety concern about your child's bus stop, other than those listed above, please send an email to the Transportation coordinator:
Mary Pierson.
