This winter’s frigid and snowy weather is definitely one to remember! With the closure of schools this past Monday, Feb. 23, and Tuesday, Feb. 24, due to inclement weather and ongoing cleanup, all WW-P schools will be open on Monday, April 6, and Friday, May 22, 2026. Schools will also be open on Tuesday, May 26, due to our previously used inclement weather day on Jan. 26. District calendars have been updated and can be found as follows:
Clearing up after this storm was a huge undertaking. I want to take a moment and express my gratitude to the folks in many Departments, both in our schools and around our towns, for their hard work. It was no small feat removing over a foot and a half of snow and ice from roads, parking lots, and sidewalks around our communities. A thank you to our WW-P buildings and grounds team along with Pritchard staff members for their efforts in preparing our facilities, parking lots, and sidewalks for the safe return of students and staff after the storm A huge thank you to the West Windsor and Plainsboro Departments of Public Works and Departments of Public Safety for not only keeping us safe during the storm but also for their hard work in quickly and efficiently clearing the main roads and neighborhoods. And a thank you to our community members for their prompt attention in clearing the sidewalks in front of their homes to ensure safe travels for our students who walk to school and to their bus stops.
2027-2028 School Year Calendar:
At the Feb. 24, 2026, Board of Education meeting which was held virtually due the continued storm cleanup, the Board approved the 2027-2028 school year calendar. Although the school year seems a long way off, I know many families plan their travel around school breaks. The calendar can be found on the District website.

Elementary School Parent Teacher Conferences - March 27, 2026: Grades K-5 will have an early dismissal for Parent Teacher Conferences on Friday, March 27. Half-day preschool is closed. These conferences are teacher initiated. Families will be contacted directly if a conference is requested. Teachers will not meet with all parents.

Spring Recess - Monday, March 30-Friday, April 3, 2026: All WW-P schools are closed Monday, March 30, 2026, through Friday, April 3, 2026, for spring recess.
